actually, on this day probably FC Mars Freiburg was founded
1903/04 Most probably none of the predecessors of SC Freiburg took
part at the champion chip!
March 1904: Foundation of Freiburger FV 04
ca. 1904: Foundation of FC Schwalbe Freiburg
ca. 1904: FC Schwalbe Freiburg becomes FC Mars Freiburg
ca. 1904-1912: FC Mars Freiburg becomes FC Union Freiburg

1905/06 There are no results of the predecessors of SCF available.
1906: FC Union Freiburg joins Verband Südwestdeutscher Vereine
(FA of the clubs of South-West Germany).
1906/07 FC Union Freiburg are champion of Klasse C, Oberrheingau and
are promoted to Klasse B.
From 1904 to 1907 Freiburger FV 04 are twice Gaumeister Oberrhein.
1907/08 There are no results of the predecessors of SCF available.
ca. 1907-1911: Since there exists a club with a similar name,
Freiburger FV 04 is forced to change the name
and becomes SV 04 Freiburg.

1916/17 Gaumeisterschaft:
SC Freiburg beats Freiburger FC 6:4, Offenburger FV 3:2 and
Straßburger SV 2:1 and thus are Gaumeister.
1917/18 Due to the first world war there is a coperation between FC Freiburg
and SC Freiburg.
FC/SC Freiburg are Gaumeister and Südkreismeister.
1918 FC Freiburg and SC Freiburg finish their coperation and dissolve their
common team. SC Freiburg becomes a part of FT 1844 Freiburg, but is
still a independent club on its own.
1918/19 SC Freiburg plays in 1. Freiburger Stadtklasse and are relegated
at the end of the season.

1944/45 It was not possible to finish the rounds.
1945 Dissolution of SC Freiburg. The aim of the winners of
the second world war was to destroy all existing structures
in Germany including soccer clubs.
The former members of SC Freiburg and Freiburger Turnerschaft von 1844
found VfL Freiburg
I am aware that some table contain some errors. But at least the tables
of 1. Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are correct. Any comments are welcome!
